So. Consider this a beta test of the new site. The video and image functionality isn't currently ready, so don't even try to mess with those. Certain pages still have some messed up styles. The whole site probably looks a little wonky in Internet Explorer since I use a different browser. Tags still need work.
It's currently running on my own personal space so depending on the kind of traffic we get, we could exceed the bandwidth I'm currently allotted.
BUT. The basic functionality for the fic archive is working. You should be able to search for and view stories that were in the old archive, as well as add new stories.
To add new stories, log in (your username/password from the old site should still work), go to My Content, filter on Text Content, and then click the Add New Content! link. One of my notes is to make adding new content a bit more streamlined in the future.
There is still a lot of work that needs to be done. But it is becoming increasingly obvious that I just don't have the time available that is required to get the site functioning fully in the short term. So our next best option is to put something out that will hopefully get us at least as far as we were before everything sort of came crashing down.

In this phase: >>2,058 stories comprised of 5,350 chapters were converted from eFiction to the new system. >>1,258 users were converted from eFiction to the new system. >>Major style/layout components were created and applied to two major pages.
Future phases will see known bugs fixed, style/layout components completed and applied to all pages, the migration of the new site to its final home, the return of the image and video galleries, and other system enhancements deemed necessary.
Thanks to everyone for your patience and support while we've been working on the transition. I know it's been a long time, and I hope the final result will be worth the wait.
